Crane with Sony PMW-EX1 & Letus Extreme
I put these photos up just to show my crane with a larger camera config as I am often asked if my crane will take various cameras. This is the largest set up I have used on the crane to date and even though I am unable use the power head with larger cameras (due to the extra weight) we were still able to attach it to the plate on the end of the boom and still get some nice shots.

So……I get a lot of people asking “Do you have a website where I can see your show reel?”
The answer to which was no…….until now. I will (try) to update this site with my show reel content and details of projects I am working on as much as possible.
Location: Based in Kildare Town (Ireland) but can travel anywhere in Ireland or UK for shoots.
Rates: I charge a daily rate for Ireland & UK which includes the use my crane & all my other grip equipment, any travel expenses to UK shoots will be charged at cost. Rates are negotiable for longer shoots.

Gear: 17ft/5m DV Camera Crane / Jimmy Jib with remote control under-slung powerhead (full pan & tilt).
Will hold most handheld type cameras (Z1, Z7, EX1, EX3 etc). Remote (lanc) zoom & focus controls for crane. 7″ monitor (for crane) with headphone output.
Use your own camera or camera upgrade hire rates available on request.

History: For far too long was I stuck doing 9-5 jobs when I really wanted to be involved in filmmaking or camera work of some description. My break came in 2007 when I received a grant from Enterprise Ireland to start up my own media / advertising business. I first started working on a video advertising website for used cars, but with the downturn in the economy in mid 2008 I had to shelve that project and move on.
I then moved to producing lo-cost web adverts as well as moving into more creative work and I recently became part of the crew on an exciting new feature film being shot in Dublin.
I have also worked on music videos and live gigs (mostly with my crane).
